  • Assignee and Requestor only: The Unread Updates Badge is designed specifically for the ticket’s assignee and requestor, ensuring only those directly involved receive notifications for new updates.


  • Automatic Event Badge: When an event occurs on a ticket, a numbered badge will appear next to the ellipsis in the ticket list, displaying the count of unseen updates. This badge only appears if updates haven’t been reviewed, offering a clear and easy-to-spot indicator.

  • Disappearing Badge: Once the ticket is viewed, the badge disappears automatically, ensuring users are only notified about updates they haven’t seen. This keeps the focus on only the most recent, relevant information.


  • Quick “Mark as Read/Unread” Option: Users can manage the badge directly from the ticket list by marking a ticket as read or not read without actually opening it.



  • Unread Updates Filter: A standard filter, Tickets with Unread Updates, allows users to quickly filter and see all tickets with unseen changes in one list.


  • Availability in Personal App: Users can also access the unread events notification feature from the personal app, giving them consistent visibility into ticket updates across devices and locations.
